Hello,

Has any one had any experience of being fined for an unauthorised absence?
I have staying contact with my two children from Saturday to Monday every fortnight. I take them to school on Monday morning.
My ex is taking them on a two week holiday which has not been authorised by their school.
It would appear that as I have parental responsibility I am being served with a penalty notice for this unauthorised absence even though I don't have control over whether they get to school when they are not in my care.
Does anybody have any thoughts or experience?
